DESCRIPTION:Nimbus Arts Festival Youth Talent Showcase\nCALLING ALL YOUTH PERFORMERS! \nNimbus Arts Center\, JC Families\, and LUX Performing Arts present The Nimbus Arts Festival Youth Talent Showcase.  Do you have talent in Music\, Dance\, or Spoken Word? \nWinners of the Youth Talent Showcase will receive a scholarship to the Nimbus Arts Center Intensive this summer and be the Opening Act for New Jersey Symphony Orchestra on June 12th. All applicants must be between the ages of 10 and 17. \nTo submit your application fill out the submission form\, and link a video of your submission (2-3 minutes). Finalists will be given a 3-minute spot on June 12th to showcase their talent.  The winners will be announced at the end of the showcase. \nAll Submissions due May 28th\, 2021 \nFinalists will be notified by June 2nd\, 2021 \nYouth Showcase is on June 12\, 2021 \nSubmission Form: https://forms.gle/WMHhszKeyZjfwXSA9 \nApplication Fee: $15 \n*Financial Assistance Available* \nFor more information contact info@nimbusdanceworks.org \nThere will be fun activities for kids like a magic show and arts & crafts from 12-3 pm. \nEntertainment for Kids \n12:30pm-1:30pm: Magic Show \nOngoing Activities: Arts & Crafts by Tiny Artisian and Luna De Papel  \nThe Nimbus Arts Festival is sponsored by Mack-Cali Realty Corporation. See Jersey City’s talented youth performers in a showcase performance + special performances by the regionally recognized Nimbus Youth Ensemble. \nProceeds benefit the Nimbus Scholarship Fund\, making access to the dance and arts available to all Jersey City youth. With a lineup of nationally-renowned and locally-loved performing artists including Nimbus Dance\, Jersey City’s hometown dance company\, the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra\, co-presentations with Segunda Quimbamba Puerto Rican Folkloric Center\, Riverview Jazz Festival\, and Hudson West Folk Festival\, the Festival offers world-class arts in a laid-back and socially-distanced atmosphere\, complete with food trucks\, drink refreshments by CoolVines\, and artisan vendors. Seven entirely produced performances take place over five dates throughout the summer in Downtown Jersey City.
