The school does not provide bussing.  The school district provides bus ticket applications to all students to determine if they qualify for public bus tickets.  Middle school students must live at least 2.0 miles from the school.\n2. Information about the process will be posted on the district website (www.jcboe.org). At this time\, the district has not finalized the admissions process for the 2022-2023 school year.  Once it has been finalized\, the district will be sharing with both public and non-public school counselors and administrators.  Last year\, the application process was online.  At this time\, I do not know if it will be online or paper-based.  We based the number admitted on the number of available open seats for the year.  For next year’s 6th grade class\, we look to admit 40- 50 students.\n3. DESCRIPTION:Jersey City Nutcracker 2019\nNimbus Dance announces the ninth year of the company’s annual holiday tradition: Jersey City Nutcracker. Jersey City Nutcracker tells the story of two children’s urban holiday adventure leading them through fantasy\, adversity and celebration and teaching them lessons about friendship and community along the way. Choreographed and directed by Nimbus Artistic Director Samuel Pott\, this adaption of Tchaikovsky’s holiday classic is performed by a stand-out cast of professional dancers from Nimbus Dance Works joined by youth and adults from the community as they portray familiar characters such as the Sugar Plum Fairy\, the Rat King\, and Drosselmeyer – all with a Jersey City twist! Amidst colorful sets\, costumes\, a brightly adorned tree\, youth and adults alike are touched by this tale of Christmas spirit. \n2019 Jersey City Nutcracker performances will take place at Nimbus’ downtown Jersey City intimate theatre and will involve youth performers drawn from schools and dance studios throughout Jersey City.
