Instead of teaching various techniques for various situations\, Systema focuses on methods that develop movements that are explosive\, effortless\, spontaneous and unpredictable all while remaining free of excessive tension or emotion- the hallmarks of a true professional. While we have some time to get ready to shift gears in the way we live our lives\, it would probably be good if more of us were in touch with the facts about why this step is so important. This  film and discussion event is to provide citizens with a broad context about the importance of recycling plastic items and in particular to generate some momentum for banning single-use plastic bags in Jersey City. \nFormat for the evening will include some refreshments and then kick off with a presentation by special guest Tim Keating / Earthbilt who has been a long time passionado about all the waste us human beings create on this earth. We will not be selling tickets at the door.  \nJoin JCFamilies and Wildly Fit  for our first ever JC Kids Obstacle Run! The kids will explore fun and challenging age appropriate obstacles as they race through the course with their designated age group. The participants will use their body and muscles balancing\, jumping\, carrying items\, crawling\, and running while conquering obstacles set up for their age. \nIn order to run the event smoothly\, we have some guidelines for everyone\, so please read carefully:\n\n– Parents need to collect runners bibs 30 minutes before their child’s scheduled run time.\n\nSCHEDULE: *please note: the JC Obstacle Run includes the participation from many kids and sometimes due to different circumstances the schedule may change.\n\n10:00 am: Check In Starts\n\n10:30 am: Age group 4 years old\n\n11:15 am: Age group 5 years old\n\n12:10 pm: Age group 6 years old\n\n12:30 pm : Age group 7 years old\n\n1:00 pm: Age group 8 years old\n\n1:20 pm: Age group 9\,to 12 years old\n\n– Parents must sign a waiver before the run.\n\n– All Kids must attend the warm up session before they run.\n\n– Parents/viewers will not be allowed on the course before\, after\, or during the run. (Psst: This one’s tricky\, so there will be soft mats to catch any racer who doesn’t make it to the end). \nThe event will take place indoors at The Cordero School at 158 Erie St\, Jersey City\, NJ 07302. \nParents will be asked to sign a waiver at the day of the event while checking in. DESCRIPTION:Maternity and baby/toddler Clothing Swap in Jersey City\nIf you have purchased your Baby Fair ticket\, you do not need to purchase another  ticket for the Clothing Swap. \nThe season is changing\, so why not clear out some clutter? The clothing swap is a perfect opportunity to let go of maternity clothes you don’t use anymore\, or baby/toddler clothes that is suddenly too small for your little one. \nPlease note that the clothing swap is ONLY for maternity and baby/toddler clothes\, and please fill out the form below in order to participate. \nCLOTHES SWAP PARTICIPATION FORM  \nMake sure your apparel items are freshly laundered and in good condition – no stains\, fading\, or excessive wear.\n\nHow does the clothing swap work?\n\n\n\n1) In order to participate you need to bring at least 5 pieces. \n2) Parents that are not bringing any clothes to swap can bring 1 pack of baby diapers to participate. The pack will be donated to Chilltown\, a charitable organization in Jersey City that will be present at the event collecting diapers. \n3) When the event ends\, unwanted items will be donated. \n4) After filling the form\, JCFamilies’ team will contact you with further details about drop off. \n\n\n\nBe sure to check our SCHEDULE OF EVENTS for the Spring Festival so that you don’t miss your favorite performers!\n\n\n\n\nFee for event:  There is an entry fees for everyone to enter at the venue which is $5 and if you are coming for Baby Fair than the entry ticket will be $10 per individual (all ages\, babies to grandparents). \nJCFamilies is a charitable(501(c)-3) organization and this small fee helps us to cover our costs.\n\n\n\nIf you have any additional questions\, please send an email to admin@jcfamilies.com
