From his earliest studies\, his urge for musical rebellion became the major theme of his creative output\, leading him to develop a unique voice that is both consummately beautiful as well as unceasingly refreshing. His artistic philosophy and aesthetic were indelibly linked to those of the Impressionist and Symbolist artists\, through the sense of community they built together as they redefined the boundaries of their respective crafts\, including Claude Monet\, and the symbolist poet Stéphane Mallarmé\, both of whom were also close friends with Debussy as well as collaborators. While early criticism of the Impressionists was brutally harsh on the whole\, their artistic movement led the Western arts profoundly into the 20th century\, and supported the environmental conditions that enabled Debussy to thrive in his musical output. (Nickelodeon)\, would like to get your child’s reactions to a new animated television series\, currently in production and scheduled to air globally at the end of next year. \nChildren ages 3-7 are invited to participate in a research session held at our Little Airplane offices (which are in the South Street Seaport area of Manhattan) on August 4th and August 5th. During the research session\, children will watch an episode of the series and look at some pictures\, and answer some simple questions related to the show. These sessions last approximately 1 hour and will take place in the late morning/afternoon.
