Come On Out… JCFamilies Local Socials

Hi Members,

We at JCFamilies decided to kick the new year off by organizing social meet-ups at local venues across Jersey City to get you and your kids out of your house for a few hours. Come hang out with other parents and give your kids a chance to meet new friends.

Here’s How it Works:

Depending on the venue, each Social may vary a bit with regards to the number of attendants, children’s age group and type of activity, so be sure to read the details below. We are always looking for new venues and will keep updating this list as new ones are added. 

Please note that if you are interested in attending one of our Socials you have to RSVP on the individual meet-up EVENT listing. Please consider that some venues may have limited space and are therefore reserved for a certain number of members only.

JCF LOCAL SOCIALS: 

Thursday Social at Brewshot Café – Liberty Harbor:

 

Come in from the cold and enjoy the company of other moms and kids at Brewshot Café, a gourmet coffeehouse that serves organic coffee, artisan teas as well as breakfast, lunch and pastries. Brewshot is a cool, contemporary space with a big communal table ideal for large groups to come together for a fun, relaxing time.

Meets on Thursday:

Time: Weekly- Thursday Mornings 10:30 am to 11:30 am, starting January 23, 2014.

Wednesday Social at Sam A.M. Café – Paulus Hook

Bring your baby and enjoy a relaxing breakfast with other parents and tots at Sam A.M. a lovely, rustic café with a super friendly staff and a scrumptious menu featuring locally grown ingredients and coffee roasted in Brooklyn.

The cafe is not very big so we recommend foldable strollers or even better; bring your baby in a carrier/sling. There are no high chairs.

Meets on Wednesdays:

Time: Weekly- Wednesday mornings 10.00-11.30am, starting January 15 to February 26, 2014.
