Christmas is right around the corner, and one of the most exciting things to do during this time of the year is to step out to see all the beautiful, spectacular holiday lights; now, we need some sparkle and holiday cheer. Therefore, we created this list for you! Additionally, we have added a mix of large-scale displays and smaller ones that are easy to check out near the city.

Magic Of Lights

Magic of Lights is a dazzling, drive-through holiday lights experience featuring favorite holiday scenes and characters of the season. They use the latest LED technology and digital animations. Experience Magic of Lights from the comfort and safety of your car as you wind through the sparkling path of New Jersey’s favorite holiday tradition. One carload, one price. Storybook Land’s Christmas Fantasy With Lights

Christmas Fantasy Lights at Storybook Land has been a tradition for over 30 years! It will be from November 19- December 30, 2022. They will have over 1 million Christmas lights that Santa illuminates himself. Children can visit Mr. and Mrs. Claus until the couple returns to the North Pole on December 23. Watch as Santa Claus appears in his chimney, waves his magic wand, and lights Storybook Land with over 1 MILLION lights! More information is here.

Skylands Stadium Christmas Light Show

Christmas Joy is coming back to Sussex County. More significant and Better than Ever. This Winter, Skylands Stadium will be Dazzled with Lights on a Mile Long Drive-Thru course that now goes ON THE FIELD. A-One Mile Long Drive-Thru, with over 2 Million+ Lights, now goes On the Field at Skylands Stadium. Ride the Ferris wheel and carousel, skate the rink, take a photo with Santa, and stop by their Winter Beer Garden!

South Jersey Holiday Light Show 

Fleetwood Lights

This year’s show at Fleetwood Lights is going to be amazing. Nearly 19,000 lights synchronized to music illuminate this beautiful home display in Morris County. There are 18,925 light pixels, 248 decorations, and 40-panel displays. This is homeowner Marc Iuliani’s fourth year putting on a Christmas light show.

Winter WonderLights drive-thru has over 1.5 million lights animated to some of your favorite holiday tunes. In addition, they have 20′ Christmas trees, three magical tunnels, a tribute to our first responders & US Armed Forces, and tons of other stunning, larger-than-life holiday-themed displays for the entire family – all synchronized to the music playing in your car!

Guests are welcome to bundle up in their car, bring their snacks/beverages, and tune their radio to enjoy the show to give you an incredible experience.

Holidays at The Bronx Zoo

The Holiday Lights at the Bronx Zoo is back. Join them for a family holiday festival at the Bronx Zoo. During the evenings, the park comes to life with holiday cheer as immersive light displays, custom-designed animal lanterns, and animated light shows sparkle across the zoo. The outdoor celebration combines festive entertainment, seasonal treats, and classic holiday music. The walk-through experience is a beloved tradition, enchanting and fun for all ages.

Lumino City Festival

Lumino City Festival features all-new light art installations spanning several acres! Each of the three parks illuminates the night with beautiful sculptures inspired by nature, history, and magic! The inspiration behind LuminoCity Festival comes from combining the traditional art of Chinese lantern festivals with modern design and unique storytelling. It is also home to the world’s most skilled lantern artists and hosts an annual lantern festival that attracts more than two million people.

Luminaries At Brookfield Place

Brighten up the holidays with Brookfield Place! Luminaries, designed by the LAB at Rockwell Group, are inspired by the season’s sharing, giving, and community traditions. The installation features a canopy of colorful lights from hundreds of lanterns suspended among the palms. In addition, touchless wishing stations on the ground allow visitors to send a motion-activated wish to the canopy of lanterns above, prompting a magical display of lights and colors.

Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree 

The holidays in NYC begin at Rockefeller Center. Whether it’s a visit to the iconic Christmas Tree, a skate on the ice at The Rink, seeing the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall, or exploring attractions and fun things to do, there’s a magic here that can’t be denied. And it’s a holiday tradition you’ll want to make your own. Also, the tree lighting will not be open to the public and can only be seen on NBC.

The Dyker Heights Christmas Lights 2021 display has become one of the best New York attractions during the holiday season. The Brooklyn neighborhood is home to the most over-the-top Christmas light decorations with life-sized Santas, sleighs, and snowmen, and some houses even bump Christmas carols from loudspeakers. As a result, crowds of all ages flock to the Kings County neighborhood to wander down the multiple blocks and avenues.
