Center Stage believes that this talent has to be brought out, shared, and celebrated with the rest of the world. They see what creativity, dance, and expression can do for children and teens, and they believe everyone deserves to have this experience. They also believe that everyone has their own, unique self-expression and that this can be celebrated in a community where they feel safe and welcomed.
Located in NY and NJ, Center Stage for Change gives youth in NYC and NJ the opportunity to showcase their exceptional talents in the performing arts, while also giving them the platform to create a noticeable change in their very own communities. The program offers students affordable hip-hop dance classes and an opportunity to take part in service-learning activities.
